Celebrating Progress and Leadership on Emirati Women’s Day
As the UAE marks Emirati Women’s Day 2025 under the theme “Hand in Hand, Celebrating the 50th,” it’s a moment to honor five decades of achievements and the vital contributions of Emirati women.
Aligned with the Year of Community, this celebration highlights the power of unity, shared responsibility, and the ongoing role of women in shaping the nation’s growth, inspiring future generations to lead, innovate, and make an impact. At Kaplan, we had the privilege of speaking with inspiring Emirati students who shared their reflections on what this day means to them, the role of continuous learning in their careers, and their advice for the next generation of women leaders.

What does Emirati Women’s Day mean to you personally?
Emirati Women’s Day is a celebration of progress, resilience, and vision. For me, it is a reminder of the opportunities our nation has created for women to lead, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to every sector. It is also a call to honor the legacy of Emirati women before us, while embracing our role in shaping the future.
How has continuous learning shaped your success as an Emirati woman in the UAE?
Continuous learning has been the foundation of my growth. In a rapidly changing world, especially in industries being transformed by digitalization and AI, learning allows me to adapt, stay relevant, and add value. It has given me confidence to embrace challenges, the tools to drive impact, and the mindset to see change not as a threat, but as an opportunity.
One piece of advice you’d give to young Emirati women starting their careers?
Believe in your voice and never underestimate your potential. Be curious, keep learning, and seek out challenges rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you.
Remember that your success is not only personal — it opens doors for others and strengthens the credibility of Emirati women everywhere.
The journeys of Mashael, Bedoor, and Amal highlight a truth that resonates across generations: when women are empowered through learning, they empower entire communities and nations. Their stories remind us that resilience, ambition, and continuous growth are not just personal achievements but contributions to a collective legacy of progress in the UAE.
At Kaplan, we believe education is the foundation of empowerment. On this Emirati Women’s Day, we proudly celebrate the determination and vision of Emirati women who are redefining leadership, breaking barriers, and inspiring the next generation to dream bigger, achieve more, and continue building a brighter future for our nation.
