Exam Structure - Four Papers

Students will understand businesses in the context of their environment, including economic, legal, and regulatory influences on aspects like governance, employment, health and safety, data protection, and security.

Students will learn different ways of managing finance within an organization with the aim of enhancing business performance and as a result will understand how organizations finance their operations, how to plan and control cash flows, how to make the best use of working capital, and the principles of making capital investment decisions.

Students will learn to demonstrate technical proficiency in the use of double-entry and accounting systems, report business transactions, understand the purpose of financial reporting, prepare a trial balance and basic financial statements for incorporated and unincorporated entities, prepare simple consolidated financial statements, and interpret financial statements.

Students will develop knowledge and skills in the understanding of the general legal framework, and of specific legal areas relating to business, recognizing the need to seek further specialist legal advice where necessary.

CA Adithi Chaturvedi is a qualified Chartered Accountant, an ACCA and a renowned Professor specializing in CA, ACCA, CMA and other Accounting and Financial courses. With over 12 years of teaching experience, she has guided thousands of students, including several rank holders, through their professional exams. Currently associated with Kaplan Professional Middle East (Dubai), she also brings her expertise as an ex-PwC (Dubai) Trainer.

Adithi has been a faculty member at the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI and a guest lecturer for various branches and institutes. Her contributions to education have been recognized by WIRC of ICAI, where she was felicitated for her valuable role as a faculty member. She has also been honoured with the Tutor Excellence award by ACCA Middle East.

Beyond traditional classrooms, she has embraced virtual learning that has received great acclaim from students. In addition to her teaching, Adithi is also an accomplished author of reference books for professional exams in India. Known for her unique example-based teaching methodologies, she excels at making technical subjects both interesting and accessible, ensuring students not only understand but excel.

Ubaid is a highly experienced trainer having spent over 19 years in the fields of Accounts, Finance and Audit. His extensive teaching experience is spread over several reputed universities in the UAE and Pakistan and various professional training institutes. He has offered his training expertise for professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CA, and CIMA.

His industry experience includes having worked as a Consultancy Partner, Financial Controller, Audit Supervisor, and Accounts and Finance Officer across industries such as Hospitality, Real Estate, Retail, Construction, Higher Education, Consultancy, and Auditing among several others.

Ubaid is a GCC VAT (UAE) Specialist and a Certified Microsoft Excel Specialist. He has experience working with several popular accounting software such as Tally and Opera and he can easily adapt to any new accounting and financial software.
