With over two decades of diversified experience in the finance industry, Hattem has successfully navigated two distinct career paths.
His journey began in 2000 as a finance professional, where he sharpened his skills in various finance roles, primarily within esteemed multinational organizations.
In 2015, he transitioned to a freelance career, offering his expertise as a financial consultant and trainer. This path led him to join Kaplan as a Finance trainer, delivering B2B training to business and governmental entities in the region; covering Finance and Investment topics such as Financial Accounting & Analysis, Financial Modelling, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, and Capital Budgeting.
His academic accomplishments include earning the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 2005, obtaining a CIMA Diploma in Islamic Finance in 2014, and completing his MBA from Manchester Business School in 2017; in addition to RIFS from CISI, and IPSAS Certificate from ACCA.
These credentials, coupled with his extensive professional experience, enable him to provide insightful and impactful financial training and consultancy.
Mira Raley
Mira heads our leadership and behavioral development division and has over 15 years of expertise designing and delivering behavioral programs related to leadership, diversity and inclusion, graduate development, employee performance, team-building, nationalization, and more.
She also works closely with clients in analyzing, designing, and implementing L&D strategies and employee learning journeys.

His portfolio spans technical qualifications, leadership development, and behavioral training—positioning Kaplan as a trusted partner for organizations seeking to upskill talent and drive performance.
With over 15 years of regional training experience, Waleed brings a unique blend of commercial insight and learning expertise to his role. He works closely with senior stakeholders across multinational corporations, government bodies, and sovereign wealth funds to design and implement learning strategies that align with business objectives, support national development agendas, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Before joining Kaplan, Waleed held a senior role at a Big Four firm, leading professional qualifications and internal training initiatives. His leadership is grounded in a deep understanding of organisational capability building, learner engagement, and performance management.
